Fitness FUNraiser Challenge

The Global Alliance of Speech-to-Text Captioning is turning three, and it’s time to party!
We are encouraging everyone to get in their exercise gear and hit the pool, treadmill, indoor/outdoor bike, streets, or trails for our very first Fitness FUNraiser Challenge.
Event Details
Registration opens at midnight Eastern Time on Wednesday, July 13.
Choose the activity goal you want to complete from July 13th to August 3rd.
Need some fitness ideas? Here are some suggested goals:
- 5k walk/run/swim/bike - indoor/outdoor
- 5 of 10 - 5 days of 10,000 steps
- 3 for 3 - 3,000 daily steps for three weeks
- 30 for 3 - 30 daily pushups for three weeks
- CapCom Tri - Team of 3 members each tasked with one goal of 750m swim, 20k bike, and 5k run/walk
The cost is $25 for adults (>18y) and $10 for kids (<18y).
You can also join as a team! The only requirement is that a team consists of at least three individuals. Just enter the team name in the space provided when registering so you can be identified as a team member.
If you are interested in competing, we encourage you to use app trackers (like Strava, MapMyRun, or FitBit) to track your distance and time.
After you register, you can gain support sponsorship by using the Facebook fundraising feature. Be sure to copy/paste the details below into your fundraiser.
